Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers are trained to assist the priest each Sunday during the service. They serve the chalice at the altar during Eucharist. Contact Amy Johnson at (210) 558-6419.
Lectors
Lectors read the lessons each Sunday. There are training sessions for all who wish to participate. Amy Johnson at (210) 558-6419.
Acolytes*
The Acolytes* are primarily youth trained to serve during worship. They lead the procession with the cross, help with the Gospel reading, and assist the priest at the altar. Contact Kevin Sykes at (210) 690-9734.
* Ministries marked with an asterisk indicate that volunteers will be involved with youth or children and are required to complete a course at the Diocese of West Texas called “Safeguarding God’s Children.” Call the office for details or to sign up for the course.
Altar Guild
The Altar Guild prepares the elements of the Eucharist for each service on Sunday as well as for special events and services. They are also responsible for changing the hangings in the church depending upon the color of the season. Contact Oksana Snow at (210) 492-2278.
Flower Guild
The Flower Guild prepares the floral arrangement for each Sunday service, except during Lent, and for special services as needed. Contact Tonya Brannan at (210) 558-1840.
Information Coordinator
The Information Coordinator is available to answer questions or pass on needed information before and after the services. Contact Jacquie Baker at (210) 696-0834.
Greeters
Greeters extend the hand of hospitality of our Lord to all who enter on Sunday morning or at one of our events. Contact Kandice Garcia at (210) 693-2073.
Ushers
Ushers assist people to their seats, take up the offering, count those in attendance, and tend to any other needs that arise during the services. Contact Bob Snow at (210) 492-2278.
Liturgy and Worship
The Liturgy and Worship committee meet with the rector to discuss and plan the worship for the parish. Contact Doc Stephens at (210) 473-9577.
Praise and Worship Team
The Praise and Worship Team is comprised of those with musical talents who work in praising God each Sunday at the 9 a.m. service. Additionally, the Jr. Praise and Worship Team is invited to participate in the opening songs. Practice for the adults is Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. in the church and Sundays at 8:30 a.m. in the parish hall. Contact Drew Specht at (210) 696-0834.
Choir
The Choir is a group of talented singers who offer vocal support to the 11:15 a.m. Sunday service as well as special services. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. and on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Contact Drew Specht at (210) 696-0834.
Service Coordinator
The Service Coordinator makes sure everyone who has been assigned a duty is present, in robes, and ready to proceed. Contact Holly Zook at (210) 521-0289.
Projectionist
The Projectionist is on hand each Sunday at the 9 a.m. service to run the laptop projector. Contact Michelle Autry at (210) 696-0834.
