Pancake Supper was a huge success!

The Pancake Supper was a huge success thanks to everyone! Clif Hisel orchestrated a great team of cooks from Brian Zook, John Autry, Tom York and his merry troop of Cub Scouts. Amy Johnson helped with getting the parish all set up and ready for the night. Dot Huddleston made sure we had our supplies ready. Brianna Harrison greeted all with her smile, and passing out beads.

The youth and scouts kept the place popping clearing plates and being fantastic hosts as the congregation came to support the youth with their Love offering for pancakes sausage and delicious homemade applesauce. Dawn Neuman could win awards for her applesauce! We had almost twice as many come to enjoy pancakes than in years past so we had to go buy more mix and sausages! What a wonderful situation that was easily remedied with a little patience from some hungry customers! Our new member, Maria Ammerman was there helping from beginning to the very clean-up end! After expenses, we cleared over $200 for mission work.

The high schoolers wasted no time in taking a small excursion to tell our local Fire Station 32 how much we appreciate all that they do on February 14th. They took a couple dozen of doughnuts and milk. Everyone was all smiles! Thanks to our St. Francis family for all your support!
