Chores and Chow Time, Oct 24th

Mark your calendar for the next Chores and Chow event, set for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, October 24, at St. Francis. We had a great turnout of about 30 people at our last Chores and Chow in May, and really got a lot done to beautify and enhance our campus. Look for a sign-up sheet in the narthex for our next campus work day—it’s an opportunity to help with our property and to spend time with your friends!

Activities on October 24 will include re-striping the parking lot; mounting a basketball goal and net; picking up leaves; cleaning gutters; and planting new plants for fall. We also will assess what indoor work is needed, for those preferring to help indoors. There are some good things happening on our campus, in terms of upkeep, maintenance and improvement, so keep an eye out for Property Committee minutes posted in the narthex.
